Life has ups and downs and many times you feel down when things didn’t go as per your plan! Any time you are feeling down, you have two options:
1. Keep doing what you are doing!
2. Do something and pick yourself back up! Sometimes, number 2 isn’t so easy to do but trust me only when you decide to try a change you will find a change!
Here are some simple ways that will hack your negative feelings:
Stop being so hard on yourself: How could this happen? Why it’s always me? Where did I go wrong? But before all these questions preoccupy your mind, you should understand that no one in this universe is perfect, and it’s ok to feel down, it’s ok to make mistakes, after all, we are only humans.
Find a way to laugh: This is the easiest way to come out of your sadness. Find a movie or a series in which you enjoyed laughing and watch one more time to give relaxation.
Read/Listen: This is recommended if you love reading books. Choose a book to read and this will help you to while away your negative thoughts. If you less prefer to read then listen to some of the motivational videos which definitely will uplift you!
Get up and move on: One of the best ways to pick yourself up is to get up and do something. May be choose to have a short drive or a quick walk which deviates your feelings and this will help to refresh your brain!
Make a call: Allow yourself to make a call to the one with whom you can vent out. This will ease your mixed pains and you will see words have the power to heal the wounds!
